Seeking Divine Forgiveness and Fulfillment

O Allah — in Whose hand my soul rests, in Whose grasp every breath I take is but a gift — You see what I cannot bring to words. You know the quiet ache that lives beneath my ribs, the longing that stirs in the stillness of the night, the deepest desire my heart carries in secret.

My soul yearns for You. It longs to meet You the way a traveller, weary and dusty from a long road, longs for home. But when I stand before that longing, I am humbled by my own unworthiness. I look at what I have offered, and I tremble — for You deserve so much more than what I have been.

So I come to You not with pride, but with open, trembling hands.

O Allah, if there is still time — grant it to me. Grant me the breath, the days, the tears of sincere repentance. Let me turn back to You fully, wholly, before the final turn is made for me. Do not let me leave this world carrying the weight of what I never gave You.

And if You, in Your infinite mercy, see fit to answer the longing of this soul — then grant me what my heart desires, what my soul has whispered to You in its most honest moments. For You alone know it completely. You alone can give it.

I place myself before You — broken where I need mending, hopeful where I have every reason to doubt — trusting only in Your mercy, which is wider than everything I have ever feared.
